Transfering

Ok, so Im in the military and will be transfering in October to Cuba for 18 months. I have to options I can sell the car and try to not have a huge loss or I can live it sitting for 18 months. WIll that fuck the car? I really dont want to get rid of it but I dont want to find a seized engine when I come back..........Suggestions and Opinions.....

There are facilities all over this country that specialize in "cold vehicle" storage, and these places seem to be spread the thickest near military installations and ports.

You should be able to look on-line or in your local phone book for one of these places. They'll prep the car for long term storage (take the battery out, drain most of the fluids, etc.), deep cycle the battery once per month, then put it all back together again with 72 hours of notice when you're on your way back.
