Simple quick question

If i wanna get rims for my yaris
and i wanna leave my suspensions
all stock. (just the rims aftermarket)

if i get 18" and take 3 persons in the
back seat, will it rub pretty badly or at all?

or should i get 17" to be safe?
will it rub on the back tire with 17"
as well? (with 3 people in the back?)

please let me know, greatly appreciate it!

thanks.

diameter of the wheel has nothing to do with rubbing

if you properly size your tires, you will not rub

if your wheel width/ offset is correct, you will not rub.

please search, there are hundreds and hundreds of these threads already.

yeah huh

If I get 18s on stock suspension will I rub badly or at all? No
Should I get 17s? No
Will it rub with 17s? No

It's like you said, its all in the tires, rim offsets, and width. I know this, and I still don't know what fits and what doesn't. On stock suspension though, it should be easy to find a wheel/tire combo that doesn't rub. I'm still trying to figure out why 225s wont fit, and why no one has 215s.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder...

And to answer the OP - no you won't have any issues if you stick to proper sizing as Tamago indicated. I'm running stock suspension and 18's no problem.
