sandblasting question

i recently got some 14s that i need blasted and i found a guy locally who offers sand blasting .. but he wanted $25 per wheel.. i beat him down to $65 for faces of them but even that i feel is high..


what do you think? what should i pay?

probably could.. never had any experience with them though

$25 per wheel is cheap in my area.
If you have a compressor, bucket, and an area outside that you can get very messy, you can buy a cheap blaster kit that pulls sand from a bucket, or bag.

That's not a horrible price. You may be able to find a metal finishing shop that will do them a bit cheaper.

To do it yourself you need a good sized compressor. It take a lot of CFM to sand blast.

sandpaper is like 5$ for a multi-pack of different grits....just takes more time
