SS brake lines installed.

Replace the brake lines on the front with STOPTECH 950.44012 SS brake lines.

Got them for $46. shipped off Ebay. They look to be of very good quality. Mounted up well without a hitch.

I can feel no difference

But I did just flush the system last week.

Nope, there just brake lines, nothing special.

If I think about it later, I'll snap a few.

Looks like I jumped the gun on my findings. The feel of the pedal is definitely firmer, with little to no sponge effect.

I guess there may have been some air in the lines that made its way back to the master, while sitting overnight.

The drive this morning had the best brake feel to date. Last time I've felt that sort of pedal feel was in my Volvo 850 Turbo.

^ Good to hear, and I was hoping to hear that, I think they do firm up the pedal a bit.

I wonder if the Yaris would benefit from a brake master brace like some other cars do?

I've never heard of a Master brace, I would think there's more flex in the skinny Yaris pedal arm, than the firewall mount. But every little bit of improvement helps.
