If I am not mistaken, the number on your stock cap tells you the pressure.
Edit: I think it's 1.1 kg/cm^sq. The only place I have seen a TRD 1.1 cap is at trdsparks. Make sure it's type-N, not S.

If you are in NJ, I wouldn't bump the cap pressure. Afterall, you didn't mod your engine to run super rich, and the winter might cause over-cooling during start-ups.

Just to clarify some convertion.
Bar = kg/sq.cm psi = lb/sq.in

1.1 kg/sq.cm = 15.9 psi
1.3 kg/sq.cm = 18.85 psi

when the engine gets hot, coolant builds up pressure. the cap just relieves some of the pressure and puts it in the overflow tank. when it cools down it goes back into the radiator. If u decide to let the engine build up some more pressure than recommended, i think your gonna see some leaks somewhere (ie. water pump)
