Possible option to power accessories

So, I was looking for a to tap the fuse box for power for my tach without splicing wires. I was really looking for a cheap source of those add-a-fuse things when I stumbled upon this www.accessafuse.com/access.htm . I don't know how it will work, but I'm seriously thinking about giving it a try. Even if they don't work $6.00 to find out and keep everybody else here from making the same mistake would be worth it, I think.

What do you more experienced people around here think about these?

Pretty slick actually. Most people just tap into existing feeds without thinking about proper fusing or load on the existing circuit.

I think Yaris uses fuses even smaller than the mini! So they might not carry the one's that would work on a YAris.
It's a neat product though.....

Yeah, I have been wondering about the size. I think that the regular mini-fuses will work on the Yaris, they will just stand proud of the block a bit. I sent an email to the info address at the website to confirm this, but it was after five o'clock. I am waiting to hear back from them and if it will work, and just be more sticky-outy then I think I will go for it and keep the forum apprised of the progress.

They system is so elegant in its simplicity that I really hope the size thing works out. I like to support the guys that come up with simple, effective, and less expensive solutions to common problems.

Your female spade and wire will stick out anyway, so as long as the fuse has the correct sized blades it will be fine.
