Noise from Toyota Vitz 2002
Hi guys
My toyota Vitz, 2002 model has some funny noises from inside between the driver and passenger seat just behind the hand break. the noise comes when i start the car and when the vehicle is in motion somtimes the sound disappears and then comes back. what could be the issue? |

Heat shield coming loose and rattling about?
'Funny noise' is extremely vague for any meaningful diagnosis. Rattle, clink, thunk, hiss...we just don't know what you are hearing.

The exhaust has been known to rot out under the centre support just in front of the resonator. Mine did and it does make the exhaust noisier under certain conditions.
