Air Filter Newbie Question
I have a 2012 Toyota Yaris. I heard it was pretty easy to change an air filter - so I thought I'd give it a shot. Everything seemed easy except I notice where I slide the box into the tabs, it doesn't go all the way to the back edge. You can see a thin piece of white which is the exposed air filter. Is this normal? It doesn't seem to be able to go any further. I forgot to take a picture of the old box so I don't know. My OCD is acting up on this - lol. https://ibb.co/pKWkL9S

That is perfectly positioned. You would not be able to close the top if it wasn't seated properly. Here's mine, harder to see the white since there is grime on it.
