Canadian DD trim piece. Can any of you Canadian members get one?

Can a Canadian member here on YW check at your local Toyota dealer's parts department to find out how much that DD trim piece is?

Here are pics. provided by CTScott in another thread:

Top: double din trim piece
Bottom: regular trim piece

Is the DD trim piece standard on some models? Mine is the 200mm version.

Is there a way to find a part number for it before I call?

I think the DD trim piece comes on Yarii that are equipped w/ the TomTom HU / Eclipse AVN2210P.

I don't know if there's a part number stamped on it somewhere.

It is only standard if you have the head unit with the integrated TomTom unit. In Europe it's called the Follow-Me package.

I spoke with a dealer in Quebec a couple of weeks ago, and they still weren't showing the TomTom HU as being orderable yet, nor did they have the part number for the trim piece yet.

If only there were Canadian dealers with sites like toyotapartscheap.com (Mossy Toyota in San Diego).

You can order almost any part for the Yaris from that site.

That's ToyotaPartsCheap AKA Mossy Toyota. I've already asked them and they don't have it. They're in San Diego.

The one listed on their site is the standard one we get here in the US.

I'd love to get my hands on one too. I've tried to find them somewhere on the net but haven't had any luck.. These look so much better than the Metra kit!

Check out this thread:
http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...?t=8809&page=2

Mi0 from Belgium has one of the TomTom HU's in his Yaris. He said that he will check with his dealer, when he has a chance, to try to get the part number for the bezel.

Once we track this down, I think this could turn into a huge GB, where we could probably make it worth shipping them from Europe to the US.

I just got off the phone with the nasty guy in the parts department and he said there is only one part number and it does not specify the size of the opening. I'd be willing to bet it's the 200mm version since that's the only one I've seen. Part #55405-52580-BO and it costs $110.30.

55405-52580-BO is the "standard" silver one with the 200mm opening.

That's what I figured. He said that was the only one available.

I don't think that the bezel will be availble until the whole removable TomTom HU kit is available. It is shown in the Canadian brochure, so theoretically it should eventually be available.

i have seen it as available as a 1600$ option at the "build your toyota" website (that's the website the sales at the dealer use to customize our cars. But i have no idea how it looks like.

it COULD be a special unit 200mm wide..

The $1600 nav option is the DVD based one with the big screen. It is actually the same size as the stock radio. The removable TomTom one is supposedly a $540 option and it is standard Double DIN size, and hence includes the matching replacement trim.
