In-car Cigarette Lighter problem

can anyone help me with this please...i just found out that the cigarette lighter is no longer working. the car works fine except this one. what could be the problem? fuse? please help. thanks

Def check the fuse first, hopefully that is the problem

another Mainer, yay.

would most likely be your fuse, since the rest of the accessory power is working (I assume)

Ignore the red marks on this picture; I stole it from some other post. But you'll see the one labeled "CIG". It's the 8th from the left on the top in this picture and it's a 15A fuse. Check that one.

this is a nice one man, but where can i find this fuse box? is it the one under the hood? sorry to ask, i'm really novice about car problems. hehehhe....

My 07 has two fuse boxes. Try looking on the drivers side of the car. Under the dashboard. Looking up you should see it.
There is also one in the Engine Compartment for other functions. Both should have a diagram of what each is on a cover over the fuses.

the cig lighter fuse is on the fuse panel located directly under the driver's side dash, near the kick panel.
