cigarette lighter assmebly no power?

anyone else have a problem w/ no power to the cigarette lighter assembly?

just discovered this today when attempting to install a sirius receiver [same receiver worked fine on my matrix. and the working receiver for the matrix also did not work on the yaris].

i've had the car for 2 months and haven't done anything to it until now.

could it be as simple as a fuse?

any and all help is much, much appreciated!

I have to agree with slvryaris. I had the plug come off the back of a lighter plug more than once. The fuse is also a possibility.

My fuse went out after using a dead phone charger...took it to the dealer and they fixed it within 10 minutes.

The solder joint on those things are poo. I bought a new car charger once because I was going on a trip and only had my home charger and my phone was dying. Then I seen that Wal Mart carried the generic charger used it once and it never worked again so I threw it aside. then I used the cigarette lighter plug from the charger to turn on my 12 inch cathodes and when I cracked it open I noticed that were the ground connects on the inside of the plug had come off due to a little pissy soldering joint.
