Question about Radio Install kits for double din radios

so im new to the whole "radio changing thing"

radio is not usually on my list of things to change (still have my stock radio in my 92 MR2...... I know how bad)

but i got this good deal on this Pioneer AVIC D3 and im looking for the best kit to mount it where it looks like it belongs in there

i see things on ebay like "toyota radio install kit"

i really have no idea wtf i need

any help would be great

thanks!

You could buy the true 180mm double din trim piece talked about here (if there's still one left?):

Or buy some kit from eBay like this (probably what you'll have to do):

And you'll also need a wire harness (only 2 bucks, wow!):

Oh, and sometimes you can find good deals on eBay. A while ago I posted one that this eBay seller was doing. Dash kit + wiring harness shipped for 16 bucks total or something cheap like that.

If you want to mount it so that it looks like it belongs there, you should get one of the 180mm trim pieces.
