Throttle issue.
Lately I have been having issues with my Yaris's throttle. If i fully depress it, the rpm goes up alot at times but the speed doesnt. It just the sound coming in and the speed will continue to drop until i release and restep the pedal. And whenever i hit 140kmph my throttle will cut off and i have to restep again. Help please.

What kind of transmission do you have? It sounds like the acceleration problems may be from worn clutch bands/plates. The 140 kph issue sounds like a speed limiter, but that normally kicks in at 180 kph. Very strange indeed.

By transmission do you mean auto or manual? Im driving a auto. Some said it might be my gearbox but some says its not. Its smart gearbox. I dont understand a thing man.
