lenzomaru, you could perhaps swap seats (GTI or Rabbit fit) or perhaps this will help: http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9833

I am a fraction of an inch shorter than falkor_99 and futurelook and it sounds as though my legs might be slightly shorter than theirs as mine don't feel as constricted as it sounds theirs may be. A bit more legroom would be nice, but the only place I would want it to 'come from' in the Gen 2 Liftback configuration is the engine bay. I have doubts if that would have been possible within the price point.

I have Sparco seats on Wedge brackets and it substantially lowered the seat, if you're under 5'10 you may have difficulty seeing low...my 5'4 friend wasn't comfortable driving it around the block.

Yes, I realize the age of the thread. Answering the person above me.

Do you now have more leg room (for the driver, with the driver's seat all the way back) than you did with the stock driver's seat?

You can make it have more leg room. Depending if you want the seat behind the drivers usable or not , once you start modding, it is all up to you.

It is my next mod. I am going to bolt the passenger seat to the floor as far back as possible and as low as possible, in a comfortable position of course, but they aren't going to be able to move it at all. Let them know what a rally co driver feels like.

The drivers one I will have sliders on, but it will be mounted as low as possible, and use all the space, since my back seat is somewhere in florida atm.

I just need to save money and figure out which single piece seats I want. The lighter the better.

I'm 6'1" and had 3 other tall guys like me in the car, one being 340LBs in the front passenger. All 4 of us fit mostly perfectly. I have a 2007 Liftback. My 380LB front passenger was a bit cramped, but he is the size of 2 regular adults. I think my car was pulling to the right with him in it. I do know we were riding on the overload dampeners, it was a very very rough ride that day.

I also have the reclining rear seats though, and that helps immensely for rear seat head room comfort.
