2012 Dash Mat

Hi,

new owner here and have been looking for a dash mat to suit the RHD 2012 5dr YR Yaris. Went to my local parts store and they have none listed and the 2nd gen mat is wrong.

Has anyone found one in Australia yet?

Sam

So 130 views and no answer.

Is everyone with a RHD yaris driving with no mat? I'm getting some bad reflection sometimes.

Only a handful of people have one for the 2006-2011 model, so it's very unlikely that there's anyone that has one for a 2012 yet.

I asked in June ( Adelaide) . All offers only to old models. Last week phoned. One outlet offers -$60 for 2012 model -but I am, not so sure about it. Best solution is to wait some time -when new Yaris would be more popular.

yaris and popular. that's a joke. other companies are offering way better cars than yaris and in cheaper price tag. Toyota is ripping people off. :((((

I think just about every other manufacturer is offering way better looking cars than the current Yaris... but I don't think anyone is offering "way better cars" in terms of Toyota quality, reliability, and cost of maintenance and repairs.

i disagree. fiesta, focus even, polo, rio and many more. there build quality is way better than that of toyota's cheap bendy plastic material. i bought yaris thinking of the same "Ya man toyota build quality and cheaper parts. yes bring it on" and i regret my decision everyday of my life now :(

Because the pathetic thing has started rattling like its a decade old car. Speakers make vibration noises. dashboard vibrate. When i go above 80 KPH, wind noise is significantly louder (no coming from side mirrors)
cracking noises come from the door arm rests. i joined the forum to findout solutions to these problem which i dont believe i would find.
the best part is that i bought it in January this year

On the original topic, have you tried something as simple as a standard bath towel? Someone with basic sewing skills can whip up something that looks custom.

i bought mine last august, and i haven't ran into any of the problems you mentioned with the exception of wind noise. but then again, i paid $14k for a brand new car that will last forever, so i'm not complaining.

So guess you will be selling it and leaving the forum then?????

I love my Yaris, and my daughter has just brought one too - great little car.

No problems with my 2012 LE ,Great little car . If you had bought a KIA bet you would really be upset. You are the only person complaining about there Yaris ,maybe the problem is you not the car.lol
