Whats wrong with Rota's?

So lately ive been hearing alot of people catching flak for having rota's? Whats so wrong with Rota's. Is it the fact that they take famous wheels made by mugen or spoon or volk or other fancy JDM companies and produce a cheaper lightweight good looking copy? Hey that doesnt seem like such a bad idea to me.... im all for saving money and looking good in the process...
