I prefer Duragloss 105 topped with DG AW after it cures properly. And since I don't have swirls or serious scratches, theres no need for polishing yet.

I used the Black Magic Wet Shine Liquid Wax today and I was pretty pleased with how easy it was to buff off. I made sure the car was in the garage, nice and cool before I applied the wax. Because I waxed the car in the garage, it was a little harder to see where the wax was on the silver paint becuase of the low light. Also, I'm pretty pleased with the shine. I'll have to see how it holds up now.

A coworker of mine swears by Liquid Glass, I tried it and that's all I'll ever use. I love it. Everyone always asks if I just waxed my car and I tell them no, I used Liquid Glass weeks ago and they can't believe it.

Hello, I would recommend, although not cheap, AUTOGLYM High Definition wax. This wax contains polymers, Carnauba wax and microcrystalline wax, gives an amazing shine and excellent protection against road salt, detergents, UV light, acid rain and fallout. I have been in the auto reconditioning business for 13 years.

I got some Black Magic Wet Shine liquid wax and tried to apply it late this afternoon. I am not sure if I used to much (I tried not to because of the recommendations in this thread) or that it was just too humid outside; but I had a heck of a time buffing it off! I am still not sure if I got it all off as it was getting dark and the moisture was starting to form on the top of the car. I may just put it in the garage tomorrow and see if I got it all off.

So far I am not all that impressed, maybe once I see the car in the daylight it will change my mind. I had to hunt the stuff down and despite it not being very expensive ($5.95 or something like that), I would almost prefer the old-style wax that dries and is easier to buff off. But I will postpone a final judgment until I see the car tomorrow.

Cheers! M2
