Refacing Disc Rotors

Advise ng kaibigan kong mekaniko, it's a must before you install your new disc pads.

FYI sa mga magpapalit ng disc pads.

Disc Pad Original from Toyota Lexus - 288
Disc Re-Facing (Presyong kaibigan) - 40
Labor - 30
----------------------------------------
TOTAL - 358

The rule here is resurface when necessary.

duke, kinapa mo ba ung rotors mo nong pinalitan mo ung pads mo?

here's the cost:
Front Break Pad Kit, original Part No. 04465 YZZE3 from Abu Mazin (Thuqbah-Kho) Toyota Auto Spare Parts Distributor = SR 262.00 less 28% = SR 189.00
Disc Re-Facing = SR 80.00 (4 Disc)
Labor for Disc Re-Facing = SR 40.00
Labor for mechanic = SR 80.00
==========
Total Cost SR 389.00

Also, for some advice if you want to change the wiper, don't throw the whole set, pwedeng palitan lang yung wiper rubber blade & that will cost you (28% Discounted):
Long Blade = SR 46.00
Short Blade = SR 19.00

Sa akin nagpalit ako ng disc pads pero no need to re-surface, due to as per our head mechanic rin dito sa office is ginagawa lang ang re-surface kung may tama at kayod ang rotor, other than that some sanding paper 500-800grits will do the trick and no need to reduce your rotors metal surface dahil computed yan for the life of your car, if you keep on resurfacing eh up to which point ninipis na yan and might need a full rotor replacement.
