Yaris glovebox latch mk1 - Toyota Yaris Forums

So I bought a yaris mk1 , it had 4 screws in the glovebox to keep it closed. I opened the screws and noticed that there was no latch at all that the glovebox clicks into.
Its a 1999 gs yaris 1.0.
Heres a photo of the latch (non-existant).
