Looks great! How long does it take for you to complete this job? I see lots Jersey Yaris drivers here... however I haven't spotted another Yaris hatch in my area yet... did see a 4 doors in the mall parking lot last week.. I parked right next to it..

If you have HID's do you still need the reflective walls? I thought I saw the same thing done on that TC someone posted from scionlife with the TSX conversion... I think he painted the reflective surfaces silver and it looked awesome. Enlighten me here.

With PROJECTORS, they are doing all the work/aiming the light pattern. So yes, its fine to paint/smoke everything else inside the headlight assy.

Our headlights are designed to reflect the light off the inner side walls (sides closest to the center of car), after the deflector "deflects," the light.. as to not create a center "hot spot" in the headlight assy.

There was more I read about this in my shop book on the headlight topic.

That picture had the same effect on me when I first saw it

Too bad we can't see it any larger. If someone knows how to contact the person or compagny that did this it would be nice to have better pictures. I think it is hhcchen that sent that link first on a thread here: http://www.wretch.cc/album/album.php?id=bandityu&book=2

Getting closer!

Picture 008.jpg

Picture 009.jpg

It took me 45 minutes just to get the two headlights looking the same, but as they say... measure twice, paint once.

Should look good!

I would REALLY like to paint my headlights... But I am worried about the Re-sealing Process... Lord knows if I fuck it up... I will get condensation and water in my headlights... That would kill me... I would feel like I killed my baby!

If one of you more veteran headlight painter guys would be willing to supervise the process for me... I would feel more comfortable...

Hey East Coast guys… Yaris meet-up/Mod event? We can pick a hotel that we can all get to...get a couple of rooms and spend the weekend hanging out and working on our cars? If I drive for 2-3 hours I don't want to turn around same day and drive another 2-3 hours home... It would be more like a Yaris Conference!
