Liking your thought pattern. If yours is silver in color then I would try for a silver match. IMHO.

I always thought that people color matching the trim looked nice, but because my car's a meteorite, I too always questioned if it would be worth the effort to paint it...

Instead of grey plastic, we'd have painted grey plastic?

looks good.. i did this to my hatch.. tho i dropped/broke the vents... went to the dealer & bought the 2009 vents cuz they come stock black... cost me a bit tho but i didnt have a choice since i broke mine.. lol i have my interior panels green/black on my met met hatch.... people seem to dig it.. so even if u dont match your exterior, if you have a theme, it will be nice.. just keep it fluid thru the car if ya can...

Exactly what I was thinking.

I may do the blue idea to match the blue stitching.

Isn't meteorite a flake or metallic? Match the car paint on your pieces so instead of "gray" it would be flake or metallic.
