Seeing Yarii around town has become to regular for me now that I basically don't even make note of it unless it has some sort of add-on that makes it look any different than the base stock model. I have yet to see a fellow RS HB on the roads, though I have seen a few base models with tinted windows and maybe some different rims.

Oddly enough I did see an RS a few weeks ago but I guess it must have been an older model because it basically looked like the base models of today's Yaris. No special lip or rally spoiler.

what city are you in?

the 06-07 rs's only had side skirts.....it was in 08 they put on the front/rear lips and in 09 than they have the totally different front

Technically, Markham. But I spend equal amounts of time in Toronto as well.

But yeah, that would explain the inconsistencies.

I'm in Richmond Hill and I see a lot of them, even my neibour across from me has a Red RS lowered and white rims

I am seeing more in Barrie, not quite Maplewood but not too far off. It's nice to see people driving what they need and not some monster guzzler.

I was just in Montreal this weekend and I saw endless amounts of Echos and Yarii. It's actually kinda funny, because Montreal has pretty steep roads so I was kind of expecting more SUVs to be around... But I guess given just how narrow their streets are that's not very possible.

I've seen loadz of Yaris in Scarborough area. But like only 15% 2DR. Yeah we should do a Yaris meet up and we can parade our cars on the roads. That sounds cool, eh?

I saw a white 2009 Yaris HB RS similar to mine on the edge of Richmond Hill on Leslie just north of 16th Ave one morning a few weeks ago.

Kind of gave a confused but amused look because it was the first Yaris RS with the same kit as mine.

lol, it's pretty funny. I've gotten reactions ranging from "wow that's pretty cheap" to "you paid that much for this?" about my car. I promptly shut them up by showing them its light enough to be quick and amazingly easy to park with its insanely awesome turning radius.

The one thing that always impresses me about the Yaris is its acceleration speed off the line. It's not amazing, but for an economy car it's got kick. Now... hitting the gas when you're on the wrong gear on the other hand... that's a different story. haha
