LOL, DNW my friend, i was boosted and still getting warranty ECM replacements, just makesure your convincing when you say "HOW THE FUCK COULD THAT HAVE CAUSED THAT!" its always worked for me.
Warranty issue #1, Broken Speedo/RPM cluster, Made it look like an electrical fault, toyota replaced, car had under 4,000km (i was messing with it to try to chance the cluster colour) Warranty issue #2, Torn CV shaft Boot, I Tore it the first time i lowered my car. Car had under 10,000km, Toyota replaced boot and drivers side CV under warranty and said "sorry for this" Warranty issue #3, side skirts were replaced, they started to seperate from the body due to the car being too low and hitting things, clearly had scrape marks, toyota replaced under 20,000km Warranty issue #4, tranny leak on same side as replacement shaft, again car was lowered and boosted at this point, toyota replaced Warranty issue #5, ECM got water in it and cooked, ECM got water at it because hood didnt line up perfectly after small fender bender with deer, Toyota replaced ECM under warranty Warranty issue #6, after i replaced the engine myself, my tranny CV shaft again was leaking, they once again replaced the same seal under warranty its actually quite hard apparently for them to legally say no to warranty claimes caused by modification unless it can be proven that without the mods that wouldnt have happened.

but just note the different countries. Different countries have different laws. And the platinum warranty might have different rules as well.
Technically, in the US as well, they can't deny warranty unless they can prove specifically that the aftermarket part cause it. However, i have a feeling Canada's laws could be much more in favor of the consumer than the US'.

Wonder how that conversation would have gone when I blew 8 holes in the bock and upper oil pan from overboosting to close to 30psi
