A eye for a eye but a Ipod for a cup holder?

I followed these steps and ended up with this.

http://readymademag.com/yaris/ipod.php

o. and it doesn't take 10 minutes...just taking out the cup holder alone was a PITA big time.

fyi. I'm spraying the dock to match the interior so no one tries jacking it haha. it's all just primer ^^

Sorry for some of the poor quality photos. It was taken at night in my garage which doesn't have much lighting. Hope you enjoy.

I find it to be pretty useful. All i need now is to use some double sided tape and tape it down and then I'm set.

I've been debating whether or not to do that... and to be honest I'm still not sure about it...

If I could find a docking "y cable," as to split the docks 1 port into two, then I would prob. do this right away...

do you have any pics of the dock from further away?

ps
great job

look at the drivers door in the pictures lol....

I would say his best bet now would be the cup holder behind the arm rest, or do the LB's not have that one?

Just make sure never to leave the iPod in since it's right in view as someone is walking by. Granted it's not a good idea to ever leave your iPod in simply because the battery gets drained if left in any type of extreme temperatures for longer than a few minutes. Freaked me out the first time I forgot it in the car during the winter.

Does the iPod fall out when you turn, brake, or accelerate hard? That would be one of my cheif concerns.

Paint it blue.
