Thumbs up Halifax drivers with a Mac Pass

I live in Halifax and I have a Mac Pass. If you're in the same boat, you probably agree that having the damn thing in your windshield is very tacky. I did an experiment and figured a way around having that ugly piece of plastic stuck to my window. I pull the center console pieces out and took out the plastic Gauge Cluster cover to expose the vents below it. I stuck my Mac Pass onto the vents right below the Gauge Cluster and put it all back together. Mac Pass still works from inside there and no more ugly in my window.

What got me thinking of this was one time last month, I didn't want to use my mac pass because I didn't put money on it and it would have gone over and charged me $10 extra and all that jazz. So I stuck it underneath the passenger seat and was going to use quarters. Low and behold, I get to the thing and the display thing outside says "Low Bal" and the gate opens. I was quite pissed but realized then that those darn things have pretty good reception.

I'll add pictures of where I stuck it later to give you a visual.

I'm sure there are other people that have these things for other uses in the world and can probably use the same method to hide it.
