How can I find out what options are available for my region?

I've never heard of an auto maker making only certain options available in certain regions, but apparently Toyota has done this with the Yaris. Is there a web site I can go to to find out which options are available in my region?

due to marketing some options are only in certain areas, like the cold weather pkg is not in CA , the only way to tell is go to your local area dealer groups web site ie; The NorCal Toyota Group & use their build your own Toyato page & you'll find out what is the option packages in your area ( this option is also on the North America Toyota site ,they ask your zip code 1st thing .. my dealer said mine was a special order car (a rare bird he called it ) . as it was loaded with every thing you could get on a 07 Yaris except the cold weather pkg .. good luck & if & when you find your car don't waste time getting it as around here they are selling like hot cakes at a Sunday morning Church Sale ....

Also if you go to the main Toyota site and play around with differnt zip codes in the "build and price your Yaris" section you can find out what's available in neighboring regions. Most dealers would probably be willing to do a swap to get you what you want. Either way, it seems the more the options, the faster they fly off the lots if they even get them in the first place. Your best bet would be to give them a small refundable deposit and allow them to try to track one down (if they are willing to) or "preference" one. You could also try to special order exaclty what you want but it might take 4 months with no guarantee it will get built at all.

I just shopped the dealer's stock online and found what I wanted on the lot. Maybe if you take a look at the stock online you can find what you want also.
