I'm running 18's ,should i bother lowering my car? PICS Inside

should I bother lowering the car ? Im looking to drop around 2.5inches ..
I will be sacrificing ride comfort and major rubbage if i do. half of me says yes to lowering the other half says no.

can anyone with photoshop please help lowering my car?
I just wanted to see if it would make a big difference. running 18"s take some of the wheel gap away

TIA

Stace is EVERYTHING!!!

LOWER IT & You'll love it even more.

You'll find yourself always looking back at your car when walking away.
Even more than you probably already do.

It looks badass... But you are looking at major rubbage like you said... are you sure you can handle that?

errr rub isn't the right term for a 2.5 inch drop on 18s... more like grind, or destroy your wheel wells/tires. A reasonable 1.5 inch drop would probably only have slight rubbing.

I ran Tanabe DF's with my trd 18's i had minimal rubbing on the inside plastic liner, but it all depends on your offset and tire size.

my specs:
18x7.5
offset: 42mm
tires: 215-35-18
springs: tanabe DF's (1.6-1.8?)
stock shocks and struts

not so much into the camber, I just hate the way it looks with the wheels leaning or tilted all I need is thinner tires and I guess I should be good

No true one bit bro I have 18"x7.5 wide with 215/35 tires and stock camber and honestly from a stock measurement my from is about -5/6" lower in the front and at least -7" lower in than stock in the rear , granted Im on coilover , Im just saying a Hard "stanced" yaris can be done with very minimal damage(if any) and you're only gonna rub the fender liner .

I've got a question for you. Do you plan on driving your Yaris in the winter? I remember last winter in Vancouver and how I had trouble at times going through the snow in the side streets stock. My buddy has a lowered Yaris and he pretty much told me not to bother lowering mine because of that reason. With Echo's photoshop job, it does look pretty good. Maybe for others that are lowered they had an easier time driving through the snow.

i'll have my spare 14" winters tires(blizzaks)on by then..ground clearance might be an issue..other than that my tires should be good..

drop it like it's hot.. Unless you like the wannabe mini-Escalade look... I've got 18's and coilovers:

Yes, rubbing is a small price to pay. But it's really not that often while driving "normally", and there always some solutions to reduce it if it gets out of hand
