unlatching seatbelt locks my doors!
hi all, wondering if anyone has had this issue before... I replaced the electric window regulator in my partners vitz (2000 year) and ever since then when he unlatches the drivers side seatbelt, all of the doors lock. any ideas on what I may have screwed up? It's been like this for over a year now, but it's only since i've been driving the car and have been incredibly annoyed by it, that I'm trying to sort it!
TIA Georgie Forgot to add that the 'lock' button on the key no longer locks the doors. It does unlock them though... Also the lock/unlock button inside the car works properly... Most odd. Last edited by georgiegirl; 11-14-2012 at 11:19 PM. Reason: forgot to add |

My bet is that you damaged the lock detection wire for the door actuator when you were working on the window regulator.
