Front bumper cracked, any repair available ?

Hi, my front bumper had a major crack about 10" long, on the passenger side near the foglight bay, from what I think was a mean parking lot concrete bump stop (might have parked a little to fast). The crack isn't that bad looking aesthetically, but I'm concerned it might keep spreading and ripping the lower left side of the bumper appart over time. Is there any doable repairs or it this a body shop case ? White '07 LB.

Thanks

you could weld it with a soldering iron and a wide tip. check youtube there are a few videos.

I agree with the welding. I did that with my sons Avalon that was in pieces...used ABS pipe glue also. Fiberglass may be easier to do though depending on how hard it is to get to.

I haven't done anything. My car had rustproofing treatment and the whole engine bay, including the inside of the bumper, is coated in thick oily film, making it a pain to do any work under the hood, and I figure that I'll just get a new bumper when this one get too trashy, the crack didn't spread much so far, I might just put some tuck tape on it from behind if I can reach in there.

My post is about the rear bumper but it may help you.
A year ago i hit my rear bumper on a cart full of bricks. The cart stopped the car but it's handles hit my bumper deeply by creating two 2cm in diameter and about 3cm deep holes. What i did was to add 3 layers of fiberglass putty on them and then sanded them. Half a year later and it's still in place although I didn't do anything from behind the bumper.
