Was the install pretty straight forward? Any complications with the wiring under the seats?

No not straight forward lol. I ended up using parts from both seats and re welding a bracket in a different position . The TC was a 2013

Yeah to keep the shoulder seat recline lever functional, you gotta cut and weld

Well mines a 4 door so I don't think I would need that function, right? That's the lever by the head rest yea?

Is the intermittency the only change with the new switch? Does the intermittency actually function as expected?

The one for the front does, the rear function needs extra wiring. It is out of a 2012 Highlander, I dont have the part number I went off of the write up

I have one of those armrests in my 2014. I love it. Sadly, they didn't make a revised one for the 2015 and up interiors...
