Thank god. I'm about to break down over here. I grind second gear way too often with the damn truck shifter that's in there right now. Don't know why it's always second.

its either something wrong with your tranny or your foot is faster or slower than your hand shifting...

I anticipate that notchiness of the shift but sometimes I don't pull through the notch as fast as my foot starts to release the cluth. It's my fault. I would just love to have a shorter throw.

Interestingly this TRD part is only available in North America - it seems TRD Japan does not have this part listed.

The box had only the NA part no., no signs of a Japanese part no.

I have a feeling TRD Japan will design a more comprehensive short shifter kit.

brand new from Ebay. Probably many of peoples in here said that ebay is not the good source, But i don't care, i use to be powerseller from ebay so they can't take my money and sell me a bad one. you can always get your money back from Pay Pal.

from a private seller? I check ebay every day, and I went through both active and completed auctions using combinations of Yaris, Vitz, Trd, shifter, short shifter, and the part number and cant find the listing? how did you find it?
