2007 Yaris and Service Engine Soon
Hello all, i tried to search a little and i am just not sure if this is covered.
I bought a used 2007 Auto Yaris with around 54000 miles. I have around 60000 miles on it right now, and from what i was expecting (i had a scion xD and did the same) that an Engine Service soon light will come on indicating it is time to change the oil. I thought - also from what i read in the forums, that this would come after 4500 miles of driving it (assuming the previous owner reset it before they sell it to me - according to her she had made an oil change). So the question is: does the 2007 have an engine service light to come on when the oil change needs to take place or not? Should i wait for it? I mean 6000 already and i am used to change oil every around 5000 miles.. Thanks for your response! (i do not have a service manual, it didn't come with the car) |
