yeah I thought about making everybody go stock...but if this were a real rally some of us would have advantages like that.

that's why I chose:
no practice laps
difficulty all the way up

that way it's possible for you to wreck and screw up your car's engine/handling. so between that and the modifications just about anything can happen! we'll see. if it doesn't work out we'll change the rules for next time.

Garm will definitely have an advantage....unless his Forza 4 driving skills are awful.

This looks cool, if I had forza I'd do it. Maybe we can do a joint time attack, nurburgring is in both games.

wednesday January 18th is the last day to submit times.

all of the info is in the first post, please make sure and read the rules well before playing.

as some have mentioned we will see how well mods help out or not. driver skill is also a big factor. of course if we all held a rally in real life the same would hold true, mods and skill would both be factors.

I should note, that I have no performance upgrades either except for a TRD rear sway bar and a TRD air filter.....so I will also have to rely heavily on my skills.

found a problem.....

in free run, you can only do 1 lap in the "quick start"...

in the hot laps, you can do as many runs as you want.. but wont give a total of your laps? only gives, best lap, last lap and current lap.. that is fine if we only do 2 laps but some you have 3, that means someone will have other than the driver will have to add your laps as you go.. there is no pause in a real race..

The only way I could find a way to do this easy was if you got in the community and made your own track and laps and made it private so nobody could join.. just throwing that out there

I finished my races.. BUT.. there have been some mistakes on my part and a misunderstanding about the times..

Has any one else finished their races yet? I got my times written down.. had to watch the replays to get the 1st lap recorded when they do 2 laps

I didnt notice this until my last race, but if you are recording your first lap, it will be from when you cross the start line til you cross the finish. but your "TOTAL" time will be from when the light turns green till you completely finish your time, which took me an additional 5 seconds from when I spin tires to the start line which is when the next clock starts ticking...

I feel you need to have actually got some races in and saw how the format worked before doing this.. All my replays have been uploaded on the storefront, just look up Toyota Yaris and the track you wanna run, you will see ywr12 and track name somewhere.. not many yaris have uploaded replays.

Next, I would like to add, I apparently had 2 car set up exactly the same except 1 had sport compound tires and the other had race compound tires.. the first 3 races I did yesterday with the race compound tires which put my yaris in C361. I noticed it this morning and wasnt sure if you guys wanted me to re-race or not, so I just finished the last 2 with the street compound tires D350. I do TECHNICALLY have R Comps but they are only for track use.. Not daily driver tires.. my DD tires are sport compound Hankook RS-3. 140 treadwear.. I feel that was acceptable.. I am ok for penalizing 5-10 secs off those races for using R Comp Tires.

They are! Terrible! The opposite of real life!
