Steel Wheels

Alright,

Heres my idea, I have now become completely turned off by the idea of Rims, too much money, for what you can get cheaper, now...for Idea #1...

Does any company make 4X100 (16x7) Steel Wheel for our Yaris'...now my idea is to buy a steel wheel then place a 16" Camery Hubcap on top to cover, at least make it look stock, the idea is to have a stock look, but to have a killer grip with killer power...just more stealthy.

Anyone have ideas?

I think your on to somthing here. I don't know about 16's but I have seen 4x100's that are 15x6. Stock is 5.5 wide so that's a little improvement. Also, if you find 16 inch steelies, there are some sweet camry hubcaps available, very sporty. Good luck.

Im pretty sure there is some kind of company that strictly does this, not a big one...but does this for budget racers?

I really want black steelies with baby moons and beauty rings...If anyone can find moons (or even flat small caps) for my 15's I'd love it. Sort of after the old toad retro look! Everybodys got alloys just like bellybuttons...

May have to get creative in the shop if nothing available.

These are not recommended for street use but I've seen some of my VW buddies use them with no problems. They are made for the budget minded autocrosser. Many size and offset options. I have thinking really hard about this but Im wishy-washy.

You know it! Im really thinking of 13x8 with a good tire, but with really no practical use (except fun) and a good drop in gas mileage I cant justify it. But I love the way small wheels handle and accelerate!

Awesome find with Diamond Racing Wheels, pricey, but stealthy... I dont know if their price is per wheel or set.

but 15x8 sounds so awesome...even 15x7

8 is pretty wide

I like the look myself. Didn't see 15X7. I am sure price per wheel. Not too bad.
