Will I rub? 16x7.5 ET35 w/ 205/50/16
So during the black friday deals, I bought 16x7.5 with 35mm offset locally for a good deal and a set of 205/50/16 Nitto Neo Gen from Discount Tires.
I test fitted the wheels as I wait for my tires to arrive and by itself I gotta say it's pretty darn flush but again this was on jack stands. It's currently on stock suspension (that I think it's sagged a bit - 2007 with 171k miles) and will be lowering on Tein S-tech with KYB GR2s soon. Will I rub? Will just rolling my fenders be the cure? I have a fender roller tool from a friend. UPDATE: With stock suspension I wasn’t getting any rub. Now lowered with Tein S-Techs the front rub on bumpy roads and dips on the outer fender. Also during full steering lock it’s rubbing on the inside of the wheel well pretty badly. Don’t know how to fox that. Here is a pic though, love the results. Last edited by mr_robot; 12-01-2017 at 04:53 PM. |
