Lightbulb The fog helped me figure out something tonight...

I was driving along in really bad light with a lot of fog...

well anyways.
I never knew that you could have both high-beams and fogs on at the same time.....

well.... I figured it out tonight.

You pull the lever for the lights back as if you are about to flash someone or temporarily put on high beams.... and there is a half way point that allows you to have both fogs and high-beams on at the same time....

not very practical... but still neat to know.

I don't have fog lights.....do they really make a difference? Like, is the road more visiable with them on?

they make it easier to see immediately in front... and they help a lot for seeing just to the right and left....

but honestly they dont make much of a difference.... perhaps in REALLY heavy fog... but i kept flicking them on a off but the difference wasnt very spectacular.... for me they are just for looks now...

You know, they've always seemed less brighter to me than the regular lights. Are they adjustable like the headlights are? Can you tilt them up and down and left and right?

lol .. almost every car does that!

As for your fogs, are they factory? MI have the aftermarket ones hooked up practically to the factory locations (wiring wise) and bought the relay for the fogs so they light up on the dash (a prehack thread). They stay on with the high beams.

I think you just found the transition position between the relays.
