removing front plate

Wondering if anyone has removed there front plate. I need to do this but don't want to look at two little holes there. So what would be the best way to repair the little holes? Thanks a lot.

I'm so happy I asked the dealer not to put a front plate on the car before buying it!

There is something called bumper plug... do a search on the Google.

Or you may apply a front bumper sticker

Is it legal to have only a rear plate??? Here in Ontario you'll get booked.. and the $110 ticket is a pain in the ass...

Or white silicone.. leave excess.. let dry overnight... trim flush with bumper.

I asked mine the same, but he said he had to do it in order for it to pass inspection...

That's is bs.. the car shipped without holes on it.. Since I saw new cars without bumper holes in the lot.
I did remind the sales not to drill it.. Otherwise I will refuse to deliver.

there are some states here where only the rear plate is needed, and there are some states where you only need both plates if there are factory mounting locations for the front plate, and there in my case, there are states where you "need" to have both front and back, but no one really cares? dont really know, but i see more cars driving around with novelty plates on the front of thier cars...and everyone single one looks stupid...

although i do not have a front plate on my car, and have never been haseled for it before

by the way, what is heck is a bumper plug? google wants me to buy a RV first before i can figure out what it is :)

Yea, you hafta have both plates in Canada.

Most states I think you can get away with it. From what I've seen in Michigan, Florida, North Carolina and Illinois.

See alot of empty front of cars or vehicles w/ (gay/retarded) vanity plates. hahaha, oh well, to each their own.

Unless I had some uber-cool vanity plate in mind that just suited me to a tee and really represent me or my car, id go w/ none if i didnt hafta have two

Jem

You can also take clear epoxy and add a few drops of touch up paint to it and inject into the holes, should be a perfect match when hard. I've used this technique in knifemaking for handles many times.

Custom orders are $129 and you will receive three sets of plugs in the exact matching factory finish. Or you might ask the dealer to swap your bumper for another undrilled one when it arrives at their dealership.

Let me know anytime. Thanks!

Yikes!!! $129 is pricey for the custom plugs.

For 129 I would expect those plugs to be able to be pulled out if I ended up driving off a bridge so I could use them as floatation devices....other than that 1.29 would be more realistic.
