I hit a wood crate at 70 MPH on 441 just North of Zellwood. It was 4:30 AM and I was in the left lane didn't see till too late to swerve and risk rolling over. I only had the Yaris 2 weeks. I had a truck before and have noticed the low beam headlights do not illuminate the road like my truck did. I had an estimate for 700 dollars to fix. I could probably fix it for around 250 but I only bought the car for the gas mileage and dont plan to spend money on cosmetic repairs. If I find a bumper cheap enough on Ebay I might fix it

sorry to hear about that bad luck....damnit all if it hadn't been a corn crate ya know?

anyways if you're interested check in the FOR SALE threads areas there might be someone with a bumper....

now about the headlights. are they out of wack because of the crate or are you just comparing to your truck?

Headlights is probably cause lower to ground compared to my old truck. The high beam is great on the yaris.

It is, the "Near Orlando" is a vague generalization.

Hi...names Jhon (aka TEMPLAR). I am FL native from Miami Beach. I am currently stationed in New Orleans, and so for the past 3 years and live in the French Quarter...so I do tons of road trips back home to Miami Beach all the time, plus making a stop in Orlando, Tampa and Pensacola here and there.

BTW...here's a pic of my new 2010 Yaris...w/ a pic of my GF. ;)

Here is a pic...more to follow. :)

Here's my little bugger, it's so reliable it's sick! 30,000+, 2007 model, original tires and brakes, although those are being changed in the months to come.
