Cool weather is good for MPG (because you don't have to choose between sweating or running the AC), might be a good time for a mileage run if anyone is interested. Maybe meet up somewhere in the boonies, fill up and run out a half tank driving further into the boonies?

I'm down! Would be cool to do a meet up and trek to the east coast for the sunrise, would make for an awesome photo op too!

Steak and shake meeting spot anyone, lol?

What is this "sunrise" you speak of?

I'm a good 3 hours (4 if I drive economically!) from the Atlantic coast, and I ain't gettin' up at 3am just to go watch the sunrise.

Then again, late night is a good time for economy driving... if we did a midnight economy run, we could drive all night, THEN watch the sunrise...

I'm too old for this shit. When do we want to do it?

I have an awesome idea,

Anyone ever heard of a little place called "Muscle Car City" in Punta Gorda?

Muscle Car City Website

haha...its a Chevy Collector who basically turned an old Walmart into his own showroom for people to see his collection, its like 10$ to get in, and he has tons of cars.

Would be an awesome place for us to meet, and hang out, then go in and see the goodies, there is a gift shop and a diner inside. Bonus part is, PLENTY of parking, seeing its never heavily busy.

I will try and contact them here soon and see if they would be for it, good way for them to a get a lil bit of business.

Figured the Orlando group can meet up and then venture over from there. While the others from Tampa and such just make the short drive down.

(EDIT)
I have contacted them about trying to establish a possible date in early to mid March for a meeting spot for us.

Before I start a thread, I need to get confirmation from the place, and see if everyone is ok with the date.

I was thinking either the 13th of March or the 20th. Both are on a Sunday, the meet wouldnt be until roughly 1pm.

Idea would be to meet at 1, chill for a bit before heading inside, which it takes a few hours to pass time here, LOTS of cars and lots to drool, I mean see. Then we can all stay there to eat, or head outside where we can hang out for a bit longer, and easily we should be able to make it last until roughly 6-8pm. Depends on each person, I figure we can get great pics, and seeing the parking lot is lit at night...we should have good night pictures too.
