Thanks for the tip on the trailer hitch randydid (I'm still waiting for mine to come in, Grrr).
That Supercharger kit looks awesome. A little pricey mind you.

So, I am about to buy some Tein S Tech Springs for my SE. From what people have said, a set made for 06-11 will work, right....right?

Not a great shot, but here is the DC header on a 2012. Perfect fit.

I put a DC header on my old Matrix. It was super easy. Was your install easy?

I really want one for my SE.

Have you got your hitch yet? If so, any issues? I am about to go about buying one but would love to know how it went for you.

The hardest part is getting off the stock manifold and all of the heat shields.

I also have the EWDs and have found that many electrical system mods (like adding cruise control) are the same as for the 06-11.
I just put an AFE CAI on my SE. Went several days without issue. I hit the 1K mile mark and decided to get on it a bit for the first time and almost instantly I got a CEL with code P0101 which is pretty generic. It looks like the MAF is angry with all that air coming at it. I will answer some questions that anyone with experience might have: This was the first time since the car was purchased that I took the engine over 4,500 RPM. Yes, I was EXTREMELY careful with I pulled the MAF. No there is no oil on it from the filter. I am about 5,200 feet ASL. I did have a similar problem with my 2007 Matrix-it would throw a code (can't remember the number) for running lean. That seems to not be the case here. Yes, the MAF is facing the right direction.

With that...anyone out there with a CAI had their Yaris throw CEL's with similar codes?

I really was hoping that it would be an easy mod. I have a OBDII reader and I have reset the code. I will keep it below 4,000 RPM for the next few days and see if it comes back. I have put about 100 miles on the car since the installation.

Thanks!

I have not purchased it yet randy. The weather is a bit cool to be working on the car outside. I did find a hitch for $104.00 US on the internet though.

I really want that Rotrex Supercharger kit, sadly though i do not have anywhere near the money for that haha. If I were to eventually buy the kit is there anything else I would need to do to my car? (I drive a 2012 yaris SE 5-Speed) I am new to cars when it comes to, well anything. I just started working at a Toyota dealership and bought my yaris and want to tune it up. Any suggestions on what to do to it?

It comes with 16" wheels so there should be no issues going to a smaller wheel unless you mount big balloon tires on the wheels. Not sure why you would want to down-size them though.

The SE has larger brakes so I'm not sure if 15's will fit

Headers

I'm thinking of putting headers in my car but i do not want to add an intake or exhaust kinda defeats the purpose of buying this car to save money on gas but i do feel like i need a lil more power when on the highway sometimes. I have an auto 2012 yaris (i know it's slow)
