For what sort of development, and how long do you need it?

There's such a shortage of Yaris' that there are scammers trying to steal them under the pretense of product development!!!

nah you guys are right on this one. If a company is needing a car for product devlopement, they would have told you what product. See K&N post.
Now i understand why the insurance on the Yaris is so much :( |

We sponsor Scionlife and are legit. At this point we just need a vehicle to prototype a kit for. |

No secret!! Some moderators just lock the thread as they see it as advertising. That is why its worded the way it is. Anyone that emailed me gets all the details. Nothing fishy just trying to avoid upsetting the site administrators. |

He's not stealing cars. Just the motors. Should be a quick prototype...and a simple cool mod that you'd get for free. |

oh boy...
I am all for development of new products, and I know I am going to get flamed for this, but…
All these grounding mods do nothing for the performance on a NEW vehicle. They can actually interfere with the sensor signals. As long as you have a good connections on a ground cable from the frame to the block and battery, that is all you need. These things “may help” on older cars that have bad / oxidized / rusted connections on the block or frame, so just clean them and perhaps replace the stock cable with a new one. I have not seen one that did a thing for performance yet ! I/we tested these things on our 4wd dyno many times over - nothing, if anything it caused interference (EI) in tuning. Sorry

If you look at my site you will not see anywhere stating added horsepower. With that said, we have tested several highly modded vehicles and have seen some increased horsepower on the dyno at high rpms. However, there are too many variable involved with dynoing to make a claim of extra horsepower. Therefore we never made any statements endorsing extra horsepower.
We had 2 new RX8s here both with less than 500 miles on them. They tooks several seconds to start which is normal. Once the grounding application was added the car started immediately. Seemed like a fluke at first. We pulled in the second RX8. Same application same result without resetting the ECU. We have found its depends more on the manufacture. Each vehicle generates different results. We have had great success with Scions. Do a quick search on Scionlife and you can read all about it. Do I agree there are limits of this application?? Absolutely!! The theory behind how are kits are designed is simple but effective and has shown improvement on NEW vehicles. Proper installation and crimping is the key. We use a industrial crimper that fuses the wire with the terminal making for a rock solid ground at 400 psi. The OEM system definitely is adequate if you do not add any extra electronic equipment to the vehicle. Once you start adding amps, lights, PS2's ect the OEM system starts to see voltage dips. Supplementing the OEM ground system under these senarios is key. This is not the first or last time someone will pose a question of such. We are just one of many manufactures. Its funny how Mitshubishi actually sells a OEM Ralliart add-on ground kit. Apexi, HKS, Sun, the list goes on. All of our kits are vehicle specific and designed to fit and be cosmetically appealing. |

Its nice to see something going on in Maryland. I just wish I saw this thread sooner and didn't already have a grounding kit.
