I guess someone spent the weekend waiting for the rapture... Since we still don't have images of that bar installed.

I want to see it installed too. What I really want to see, though is one installed with the rear seat still in.

Follow echo_hrs on microimageonline. He is waiting for one to be delivered and has no intentions of removing his rear seat.

^ He should have it soon. We've had a little trouble setting up a Canadian-side customs broker to handle such a large package.

Couldn't fit it in a flat rate box.

Is curious on a solution for the sedan...I am sure that the car's interior would need to be stripped.

To make a sedan one, Autopower would need a test car onsite for measurements, and to know that there is a market for more than a couple of bars. Or they can do custom work, but that's true for any good fabrication shop.

I thought all you had to do to get something over the border is to label it "Parts for repair" or "Gift".

^ USPS and UPS normal services don't handle something as large as a roll bar. So we are using UPS Freight, but they require that the recipient have a customs broker. We're working on it.

Have you noticed any increase in chassis stiffness with the bar installed?

What autopower roll cage doesnt increase body stiffness. I'm sure it does, and u sorta kinda need it to run track. Unless u do a PDX.. but thats just not as fun..

If you want to increase stiffness, get the race bar with the cross brace to triangulate.

I've just driven around town so far, I won't really know if it did anything until next track day. I suppose it should prevent flexing a little, but the X brace in back already helps a lot with that.

Maybe Jason can chime in whether he thinks the street version does any stiffening at all.

Glad to see the bar fit. I can't help but be reminded of paint hiding under the wrap on our car when I see the color you chose.

I don't think any modern car has much to gain from bolting anything on/in it. The biggest area for flex is all the sloppy rubber bushings that attach the suspension to the chassis. The only reason I would ever bolt any kind of bar into the car is for safety - if it's not going to protect me it's just extra weight.
