Our Yarii bring all the cars to the yard and they're like, 'it's tinier than yours'.

I had the same experience a couple of weeks ago, but I was the instigator. I intentionally parked next to the Budweiser Yaris that I see at the convenience stores all over town. He happened to be at the same restaurant I was eating at during my lunch break. I don't know if he was amused or not.

I park next to other hatches when the opportunity arises, I think it's a nice way to show solidarity across the Yaris community and I know that it probably brings a smile to the owner's face when they see another hatch next to theirs when the return to their Yaris!

Cheers! M2

I always park next to other yarii when possible. In fact, agreeing with madmax above, I also notice that when I pass other yaris the driver is usually looking at me as I look at hims..hers are usually texting :(

I do think yaris drivers have an unspoken bond somehow.

Maybe they do in your neck of the woods... I always look at a fellow Yaris driver in the hopes that we can make eye contact (I mean, there are only a handful in western PA), but alas, they never acknowledge me!

But parking next to one is always fun!

That's me on the right!

I also wave to other hatchbacks, but rarely do I get a return greeting. I guess it's a habit I get from driving a Jeep, there it is customary for Wrangler owners to wave...

I ordered a pizza from Papa Johns today. I was picking it up at the store and as I was getting out of my car to go inside, a delivery car pulled up beside me. He was in a white Yaris hatchback. I thought it was funny and I smiled as I walked by. I could tell he was amused too. As I was paying the cashier, he came inside and asked me about my Yaris and how I liked it.

I also always park next to a Yaris if I see one. Just fun.

The wave thing doesn't really work for me though, almost all the Yaris' I see are driven by seniors.

But I do it sometimes and most people don't recognize it's a Yaris.
Like a sedan owner said to me on a mall parking lot "that's a yaris?"
