Need a DIY for removing front bumper

I can seem to get my fingers around my 09 grill to take of the front emblem, also I cant pop off the two hook cover without damaging my paint.
I was sure that I could find at least one DIY thread, but couldnt fin anything.

Hi if you will check the DIY section in the stickies thread at the top of the DIY forum you will find a DIY for removing the headlights.....use that as your guide....

if the 09 bumper is the same as the 06-08 retainer-wise, then you just need to remove the black circular clips at the top of the bumper and one in each wheel well where the bumper meets the fender. Just poke the center in with a screwdriver or something and then pull them out. After that, carefully pull the corners of the bumper away from the fenders. Then there should be a bunch of bolts on the bottom. Undo those and pull the bumper away.

oh and for getting the tow hook cover off, just use a credit card or similar object in a twisting manner. Pop.

Pictures worth 1000 words right?

The fasteners on top + in wheel well--press the center of the plastic pin and it pops up, then pull pin out. The ones under the car are screws, you'll need a socket wrench to remove. Where it shows prying with a screwdriver, there are claw-type clips--just don't be too forceful.

If all you really want to do is remove your emblem, might want to ask a friend with smaller fingers to try it, before you go to all this trouble.
