Question About the toyota vitz

So anyways i got toyota vitz 2005 and i was wondering if the car has engine immobilizer system? anyone knows?

Note: the car has navigation and smart key access. Japonese version.

However my navigation has a message saying¨ please insert correct map disk¨. I did get the software for my unit ndcn w-55 but when i incerted the cd nothing happened. or maybe i just didnt burn the cd correctly.

i say i did it wrong because in the instructions i saw burn as a file image, but dont know how to do that ( used nero ) all i did was insert blank cd throw file and hit burn.

it probably needs the file to be in the correct format.

Did you mean it was an IMAGE file? Like a copy of the disc? If so you burn the image onto the disc, not drag the file into the disk.

The smart key acts like the transponder in the cars that have a normal key.

For the nav system, did you get a single file that has an extension like ISO, BIN, MDF, NRG, etc.? If so the file type will define what burning application you need to use.

OK. So, the directions say to simply burn that loading.kwi file on the CD. In Nero, did you also set the volume name for the CD to: 86271-V416A8
