I think it would be sweet at night to have the handles light up when you go to the car. Being a 3 door, this mod looks very doable...

So you Louisville guys want to get together and do this sometime?
I have an aftermarket power locks and alarm, so as it stands, mine don't do the fade on when I unlock it. Maybe I'll play around tomorrow and see if I can't get it to work

Those door handles seem like it would be easy. How much do they cost though?

Yup, that's exactly what I used. Worked like a charm!

How much was your 2nd door handle? I'm thinking about doing this on mine in the spring, but I would want a second handle to try it on as well. Good choice on the blue LEDs

How can I connect the leds from the door handles to the dome light? Do I have to take down the roof liner (or upholstery, I don`t know exactly how you call it)? I`m afraid to do this because of all the window airbags being stuck in there. Is there a separate fuse for the dome light so I can connect directly to it without tearing apart the car?

Thank you!

Actually, I think that means cubbie hole. I can't find a pic at the moment, but in the
owner's manual, they call it an auxiliary box. It's on the left side underneath the
instrument panel dimmer pot. See page 172 on here:
http://www.etimago.com/yaris/repairmanual/Owner's%20Manual.pdf

Otherwise, maybe CTScott has a pic somewhere on here.
