Dumb Question about air coming from engine bay

I notice that everytime i start my car I feel air down the engine bay (The radiator fan is not ON). Just curious, which part "is" generating air ?

Intake sucks air. Exhaust shoots air/gas

You are absolutely right my friend, but the air i'm feeling is coming from the engine bay not from the header to the exhaust. I thought that moving parts from the engine like pistons or whatever with their movements generate air but since the engine block is sealed I was curious. I have no check engine light ON

I know that the intake sucks air, but what i'm feeling is air blowing (not to much but is noticeable) at me, that's what makes me a little curious

I feel little air blowing from the intake manifold but i don't have no check engine light ON. I thought it was maybe the alternator producing little air from internal moving parts

Anything moving will move air with it due to friction and things that shear the air. So drive belt, pulleys, bolts on pulley etc all will cause air movement. And yes, the alternator has an internal cooling fan.

You've got;
- a water pump pulley spinning
- an a/c pulley spinning
- an alternator pulley spinning
- a crank pulley spinning
- and around all these spinning pulleys, a serpentine belt whipping around

Of course you are going to feel air movement!
