anything's possible. But if you're talking direct drop in swap? no.

you should use the engine from the 4 cylinder Highlander instead.

Umm that XB is just f**kin nuts.
On the other hand i've heard of a 2.4tc motor going into a yaris, or should i say rumors never actually seen it though. |

swapping to a tC motor to gain 50 hp might be fun and challenging (I have nothing against that), but it's a complicated, expensive project.
1. You would fabricate motor mounts, and probably do some frame work to accept a 2.4L motor. 2. Mate it with what transmission? 3. How to handle management and ECU?

funny thing about that twin turbo xB - I've never ever seen any videos of it perform. Just for show?

I recently traded one of my yaris for a gen2 xB. The thought of a 2.4motor(and transmission) swap has been lurking in the back of my head for a while. Now granted I dont think it would be either cheep or simple, but that aside, I could imagine it being a pretty reasonable choice. Assuming it wouldnt increase the weight much, an extra 50 or 60 NA ponies would be, what, a 50 or 60% power to weight increase over stock, not to mention the fact that the tourque and hp curves are alot flatter.
