You have to snip the black blob of plastic to lift the board. I believe that the Switch LED is cooked from when the jumper was going to the wrong side of the resistor. That would have put 12 volts directly through the LED, which would kill it.

ugh,..... whatever I give up anyway when I press it, the foglight on the Dash cluster turns on. Wait if you send 12 volts directly to an LED it frys it?
Damn I fried 20 dollars worth of lights

If the LED doesn't have a current limiting resistor it will light brightly once. Sometimes they'll even split or pop.

Yea that's what happened to my led spot lights, I though it was 12v hardware but it lit once and I though the connection was bad... then used another one and that too fried ughh bad day.


And thanks for all the foglight help anyway
