I need your opinion!

ok so my friend is buying a full exhaust for his Civic Si and he bought a muffler from this shop, its a flowmaster, thats all i know. Well he said since he is buying a full exhaust, that he would sell me his muffler for $50 bucks, i told him that i will buy it if it fits my yaris, he said that it was universal and all that had to be done was to be welded, so im asking ya, Do you guys think its a good idea to buy, will it fit my car? im sorry that i cant provide more information on the muffler or anything like that, if ya need some more information, pm me or reply here the questions that ya might think might help me to ask.

Seeing as just about every exhaust for our car is an axle-back anyway, I hardly see the harm in it. Go for it. (^_^)

It's $50. If it doesn't work, then no big loss. Post a vid or sound clip when you get it on. Once I get my Blitz Nur Spec installed, I'll post a vid for you so we can compare the sound quality. (^_^)d

i had a Flowmaster when i had my GTI. it sounded good, but it was loud. then again, i had a catback that was one pipe from the cat to the Flowmaster muffler made for me. no resonator. hahaha...maybe that's why it was loud.

Hmmm...

i would make sure that the place that welds it on makes a new pipe from the flange back to the new muff. make sure that you can always return it to stock in case it sounds like ass...

well maybe you could be more clear with your original post!

from what i read your freind is buying a full exhaust he bought it with a flowmaster muffler, and would sell you his exhaust (which i presumed would be the old stock honda si muffler)!

why didn't you just make a post asking about the flowmaster exhaust on a yaris, why bother telling us about your freind and his si, its post fluff..

Aw, c'mon punch, don't get pissy just because you didn't get it.
I thought it made perfect sense.
